How cashback is earned
These Cashback Terms form part of our Terms & Conditions. They explain when you earn cashback, how it is confirmed, and how it is paid.
Cashback is a share of the commission a partner store pays Saveli for your order. You earn cashback only when all of these are true:
- you are logged in to your Saveli account when you click through to the store;
- the store or its affiliate network tracks the order and reports it to Saveli;
- the order meets the store’s offer conditions;
- the store confirms the order and pays Saveli the commission.
Tracking conditions
Tracking depends on the store recognising that your visit came from Saveli. Orders may not track if:
- you did not start the visit from a Saveli link, or you completed the order later in a different visit, browser or device, unless the offer says otherwise;
- cookies were blocked, or an ad blocker or browser extension removed the tracking;
- you visited another cashback, coupon or comparison website before paying;
- you used a coupon code that the offer does not list or allow;
- the order was placed through a channel the offer excludes, such as the store’s app or phone orders.
How the amount is calculated
Cashback is calculated on the order value the store reports as eligible, at the rate shown on the Saveli offer when you clicked through. The eligible value usually excludes taxes, delivery charges, convenience or payment fees, gift wrapping and amounts paid using gift cards, store credit or wallet balances.
If the store reports your order in a different category, or at a different value, from the one you expected, the cashback follows what the store reports. Where an offer says “up to”, the highest rate applies only to some products or categories.
Statuses and validation

| Tracked | The store has reported your order. The amount may still change. |
| Pending | The store is waiting for its return and cancellation window to close and is validating the order. |
| Confirmed | The store has approved the order. You can withdraw this cashback. |
| Paid | Saveli has sent the cashback to your chosen UPI ID or bank account. |
| Declined | The store has rejected the order, and no cashback is payable. |
Validation periods are set by each store and differ by store and category. The expected confirmation time shown on an offer is the store’s estimate, and stores sometimes take longer. Saveli cannot confirm cashback before the store does.
When cashback is declined or reduced
Cashback may be declined or reduced if:
- the order is cancelled, returned, exchanged or partly returned;
- the order breaks the offer’s conditions, for example an excluded product, payment method or coupon;
- the store does not pay Saveli the commission for the order;
- the order is fraudulent, or breaks our Terms & Conditions.
If a store reverses a commission after cashback has been paid to you, we may deduct that amount from your future cashback.
Missing cashback claims
If an order does not appear in your account within the tracking time shown on the offer, email us with the store name, order date, order ID, order amount and a copy of the order confirmation or invoice. We will raise a claim with the store or its affiliate network. Stores often have their own deadlines for claims, so please contact us as soon as you notice an order is missing. The store decides whether to accept a claim.
Withdrawing cashback
- You can withdraw Confirmed cashback only. Tracked and Pending cashback cannot be withdrawn.
- Payouts are made in Indian rupees to a UPI ID or Indian bank account held in your own name.
- Any minimum withdrawal amount is shown in your account before you request a payout.
- We may ask you to verify your identity or payout details before paying, to protect you and us against fraud.
- Check your payout details carefully. We are not responsible for payments sent to incorrect details you provided. If a transfer fails, the amount goes back to your Confirmed balance.
- Where the law requires tax to be deducted from a payout, we will deduct it and tell you.
What cashback is not
Cashback is a partial refund on purchases you choose to make. It is not a salary, investment return or guaranteed amount, and it has no value until it is Confirmed. Please do not buy something only to earn cashback.
Changes to offers and these terms
Stores can change or end their offers at any time. We may update these Cashback Terms, and we will tell account holders about significant changes by email. Changes do not affect cashback that is already Confirmed.
